Phyllis Marchand, who served 22 years of elected office including 14 as mayor of the former Princeton Township, died at home on Thursday morning, March 25. She was 81 years old. A native New Yorker who moved to Princeton with her husband, Sy, in 1966, Marchand was active in numerous causes and organizations, locally and beyond.
